Gemtastic is an independent fine-jewelry studio in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Pieces we make ourselves are cast and hand-finished at our own bench. Every piece is checked over by hand in our workshop before it goes out. Metal and stone specifications are stated on each product page — if a detail you need is not there, ask us and we will measure it.

Free insured shipping on orders of $250 or more. Below $250, insured shipping is $9.95. Either way your piece ships insured and tracked, in packaging that does not advertise its contents. We ship to United States addresses only. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. If a package is delayed, lost, or arrives damaged, contact us — we file and manage the carrier claim ourselves and stay with it to resolution.

You have 21 days from delivery to change your mind. No reason needed. Contact us first, then send the piece back unworn and undamaged, in its original packaging, with any paperwork that came with it. We refund the price of the piece and the tax on it.

Three things to know before you do, because none of them is obvious:

• You pay the return shipping, and you insure it for the full value. Until the package reaches us it is still yours. We will tell you where to send it and how to pack it before you ship anything.
• The original shipping charge is not refunded. If you paid $9.95 to have it sent, that stays. If your order shipped free, nothing is deducted.
• If paperwork that shipped with the piece is missing — a grading certificate, an appraisal sheet — we charge what the replacement document costs us, and we tell you that cost in writing before you send anything back. It is only charged where paperwork was actually supplied with the piece, and once you know the figure you are free to find the paperwork instead.

There is no restocking fee on a change-of-mind return.

Four things cannot be returned for a change of mind: a custom commission; a piece you had engraved; a piece we sized or resized to your specification; and a piece marked Final Sale on its product page. If this page does not say Final Sale, this piece is not final sale. A catalogue piece we cast for you after you ordered it is not a commission — it is a normal purchase and it comes back like anything else.

If a piece is faulty, you are charged nothing. You have the same 21 days from delivery to tell us a piece is faulty, has a manufacturing fault, arrived damaged in transit, or is materially different from how it was described. On a confirmed fault there is no fee of any kind and we pay the return shipping. We repair, replace, or refund — we choose which, based on the piece and the fault, and we tell you which and why before we do it.

A 25% restocking fee applies in one case only: you cancel an order after production on it has started — once the piece has entered the studio queue and work has begun at the bench or in CAD. Cancel before then and you are refunded in full, with nothing deducted. If a package is refused or comes back to us undelivered, we deduct the carrier's actual return charge, not a percentage.

Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of the piece reaching us. Do not send anything back before we confirm — an unannounced return cannot be processed.

We do not offer a warranty. Normal wear, accidental damage, and work done by another jeweler are not covered. Repairs may be available for a fee — ask us.
